Andy Mangan is on the verge of completing a move to Shrewsbury Town, according to manager Micky Mellon.
The Forest Green forward has been one of Mellon's top transfer targets as he reshapes the Shrews squad and he will be delighted to get his man.
Following the 2-2 draw against Watford, Mellon told the club's website said: "I think we're pretty much where we want to be with maybe just one more to come in. That deal has been pretty much agreed; it's just a matter of getting the communication going between the two football clubs.
"There's no secret that Andy is the lad we're trying to bring in. I know him very well and I know what he'll bring to the group. He can play anywhere across the front and has got good instincts to get you a few goals.
"He'll be a great addition to what we're already doing, although I have to be respectful and say the deal hasn't been 100% concluded yet. It's more a question of when rather than if and I was expecting him yesterday (Friday) to be honest."
