Leeds United have confirmed they will not be pursuing their interest in signing Swiss defender Jonathan Rossini.
The Sassuolo defender had trained with the club for three days at their summer camp in Italy and had been expected to follow former team-mate Tomasso Bianchi to Elland Road.
But Leeds president Massimo Cellino told the club's official website: "We want special players at Leeds United. Rossini didn't show enough during the three days he trained with the rest of the team.
"After speaking to him it is clear that he didn't have the right attitude to join Leeds, so we have allowed him to leave."
Leeds have signed goalkeepers Stuart Taylor and Marco Silvestri, plus Bianchi and Senegalese striker Souleymane Doukara, who has joined on a season-long loan from Catania.
