Cambridge United have re-signed forward Kwesi Appiah on a six-month loan from Crystal Palace.
The 23-year-old returns to the R Costings Abbey Stadium having spent some of the first-half of last season on loan with the club, who were then in the Conference. He made 17 appearances in total for the U's , netting ten times.
Appiah told the club's official website: "I was here before and had a good connection with everyone.
"It was great to see the team win at Wembley in the FA Trophy and then be at the Abbey Stadium for the play-off semi-final.
"Hopefully the fans will see some more goals from me this season and hope as a team we can give them something to cheer about."
Appiah has had few opportunities since joining Palace in 2012 from Margate FC, who currently play in the Isthmian League Premier Division. He has had a number of loan spells away from Selhurst Park, but none have bettered his success with Cambridge.
The U's Director of Football Jez George said: "From the day Kwesi arrived at this football club, he hit it off with the players, the staff and the supporters, so since he left us, we've tried to do the best we can to bring him back.
"We had to move really quickly to make this happen and despite a lot of competition for his signature from other clubs, we are delighted to have signed him until January 10th."
