Carlisle United have signed midfielder Danny Kearns on a two-year deal.
Kearns has joined the Cumbrians on a free transfer following his release by Peterborough at the end of last season.
The 22-year-old has recent experience of playing in League Two having helped Chesterfield clinch the title earlier this year during a loan spell at the Proact Stadium.
"He can play as a number 10, or wide on the left or the right," Carlisle boss Graham Kavanagh told the club's official website.
"Danny will add competition right across the midfield. He's a ball carrier and a provider.
"I think the only thing he needs to improve is scoring goals but he'll provide a lot for the team."
