Birmingham City have completed the signing of striker Denny Johnstone from Celtic on a three-year contract.
The Scotland Under-19 international arrives at St Andrews with a glowing reputation and had been on trial with Blues in recent weeks, turning out for their Under-21 side.
Talks over a potential deal had stalled as Celtic haggled over a compensation fee which Birmingham have now agreed to.
"I'd like to thank the board and everybody involved for making this happen," Blues boss Lee Clark told the official club website.
"Negotiations with Celtic have been long but we got there in the end.
"Denny was highly-thought of by Celtic and they wanted to keep him but the boy wanted to move on.
"He's very competitive and can hold the ball up well but he's also got terrific movement in and around the box.
"We have high hopes for Denny and I'm delighted that we could make it happen."
