Walsall have announced the signing of striker Ashley Grimes on a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old joins the Saddlers after this week leaving Bury, where he made 15 appearances but failed to find the net.
Grimes spent a couple of years at Manchester United and Manchester City as a youngster, before moving to Rochdale and Millwall.
"He has fantastic technical ability and is one of the best finishers that I have seen," Saddlers manager Dean Smith told the club's official website.
"He will compliment the way we play and hopefully this move will reignite him so that he can reach the levels that I know he is capable of."
Meanwhile, Walsall goalkeeper Liam Roberts has joined non-league Rushall Olympic on loan.
