The closing date for entries is 23:59pm on 7th February 2014. Any sign-ups to the National Citizen Service programme received after this date and time will not be included in the free prize draw.
The Promoter of the Prize Draw is The Football League (Community) Limited trading as The Football League Trust. Our address is 5B, Edward VII Quay, Navigation Way, Preston PR2 2YF.
One winner for each pair of tickets will be drawn at random from those persons eligible to enter by having committed to undertaking the National Citizen Service Scheme in 2014 by completing an application form, paying the sign-up fee and gaining parental consent within the stated period, and submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions. The prize winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries by an independent person.
The prize draw is not open to employees of The Football League Trust, any of the Local Providers or their family members. The draw will be supervised by an independent person.
The promoter does not accept responsibility for any application for registration that is lost, delayed, incomplete or otherwise not received or cannot be entered for any technical or other reason.
Winners will be contacted within 48 hours of the closing date. The Football League Trust decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The guest of the winner must be aged 18 or over at the time of the Capital One Cup Final and name communicated to the Football League Trust within 24 hours of notification of winning.
In circumstances beyond the promoter's control the promoter reserves the right to amend or vary the prizes. There is no cash alternative.
The tickets supplied in the prize will be subject to the conditions of issue in relation to such tickets (available at www.football-league.co.uk/ticketconditions), Wembley National Stadium Limited's Stadium Ground Regulations (as displayed at the Stadium and available at www.wembleystadium.com) and all segregation and other health and safety rules or policies imposed in respect of any Match by any police force or safety officer responsible for such Match. The Football League reserves the right to refuse admission to the Final in circumstances where the holder of the Ticket is acting otherwise than in accordance with the same or is otherwise not entitled to attend the Match e.g. as a result of a banning order. Please note, under Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1996 (as amended) it is a criminal offence to seek to transfer tickets without authorisation. No such authority is granted by these terms and conditions.
In the event that the Football League Trust (having used its reasonable endeavours to do so) is unable to contact a winner within 24 hours of the draw then unfortunately the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and the promoter will draw another winner.
By entering, all participants in this prize draw will be deemed to have accepted, and be bound by, these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material as if they were set out in these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions.
Winners agree to appear and participate in Football League Trust publicity activity or other media opportunities if so required (which could include radio interviews, newspaper interviews or broadcast appearances). The identity of the winners will be published on our Facebook page.
The Football League Trust will contribute up to £100 towards travelling expenses to the Capital One Cup Final. Receipts will be required. Any other expenses incurred by you in entering this prize draw or in using the prize (including, without limitation, any food, drink or accommodation costs) will not be reimbursed.
Full details of the prize and the name of the competition winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the promoters address within 30 days of the closing date.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
