Sky Bet Football League Team of the Week 03/02/14 - 09/02/14

10 February 2014

After the conclusion of the week's Sky Bet Football League matches, we've picked out a squad of the best performers from the divisions to make the Team of the Week.

Here's our 3-4-3 best XI and a manager from the week's Sky Bet Football League matches:

Goalkeeper: Paul Robinson (Blackburn Rovers)

The experienced Robinson pulled off a number of fine saves at the Riverside to earn Blackburn a point in a 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough.

Defender: James Jennings (Mansfield Town)

Jennings bundled home Mansfield's all-important second goal in their 2-1 victory against Southend United, which was their first home win since September.

Defender: Stephen Warnock (Leeds United)

The left-back used the conditions at Yeovil Town's Huish Park to perfection to net Leeds' winner on Saturday, looping a long-range free-kick over Marek Stech and into the net.

Defender: Sam Collins (Hartlepool United)

Veteran defender Collins played a huge part in Pools' 2-0 triumph at Dagenham and Redbridge, helping them keep their third clean sheet in four matches.

Midfielder: Alex Pritchard (Swindon Town)

The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was instrumental in Swindon's dramatic comeback at Vale Park. Pritchard crossed for Nile Ranger's goal, before levelling the scores with a magical free-kick, in a game the Robins went on to win 3-2.

Midfielder: Chris Maguire (Sheffield Wednesday)

Maguire has been a stand-out player for Wednesday in their recent upturn in form and Saturday was no different, with the 25-year-old scoring the Owls' opener in their 2-0 victory at Reading.

Midfielder: Gary Jones (Bradford City)

Midfield workman Gary Jones was on fire on Saturday, netting two pile-drivers for Bradford in their thrilling 3-3 draw with Crewe Alexandra.

Midfielder: Dean Marney (Burnley)

The 30-year-old drove in his first goal of the season on Saturday and played a pivotal role in the Clarets' 3-1 success against Millwall, which extended their unbeaten home record.

Striker: Scott Hogan (Rochdale)

A second-half hat-trick from Scott Hogan gave Rochdale all three points on Saturday at AFC Wimbledon and, for that, the striker has a place up front in the Team of the Week.

Striker: Izale McLeod (Milton Keynes Dons)

Forward McLeod was in the thick of things at the Banks's Stadium on Saturday, where the Dons ran out 3-0 winners against Walsall. The 29-year-old bagged a brace and was brought down in the box for his side's other goal.

Striker: Joe Garner (Preston North End)

Simon Grayson certainly doesn't lack striking options at Deepdale, but Joe Garner is the in-form man and he added another two to his season's goal tally at the weekend, guiding North End to a 2-1 win against Tranmere Rovers.

Manager: Mark Cooper (Swindon Town)

Cooper's Swindon side went in at half-time 2-0 down to Port Vale on Saturday but the manager inspired a comeback, with his men pulling off a shock comeback to take all three points courtesy of a 3-2 victory.
