Capital One Cup Final weather watch for Sunderland and Manchester City fans visiting Wembley Stadium on Sunday 2nd March
Manchester City and Sunderland fans travelling down to Wembley Stadium for the Capital One Cup Final on Sunday 2nd March will be delighted to know that they’re set for a glorious afternoon in the capital.
While we wouldn’t recommend arriving at Wembley with t-shirts, shorts and sun cream – although you can never be too careful - by the time kick-off comes around at 2pm the temperature is expected to peak at seven or eight degrees celsius.
In the days leading up to the game, the Wembley stadium turf is expected to be on the receiving end of some wet weather with rain scheduled for Thursday evening and all day Friday. But the chance of precipitation on the morning of the Final is as little as 5%, rising to around 20% by the time of the second half.
With seven mile per hour winds, very good visibility and 70% humidity, the players of both Manchester City and Sunderland are set to enjoy near-perfect conditions as they compete for the Capital One Cup.
