Peterborough United forward Nicky Ajose has been named the Sky Bet League 1 Player of the Month for January.
The youngster scored five goals in as many games on his return to the club from Swindon Town.
His sharpness around the box brought him a hat-trick in the 4-3 win over against Notts County, which included a superb swerving 25-yarder.
Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson said: "Nicky has been magnificent since he returned from his loan spell at Swindon.
"He was unfortunate that the strikers at the football club during his time away were in excellent form.
"Now he is back and has his chance, he has taken it. I said when he returned I would give him a run of games and he has been excellent.
"I can't speak highly enough of him. His attitude has been first class and he has been fantastic in the building and, of course, on the pitch."
Sky Sports' Football League pundit Don Goodman said: "Peterborough scored the most goals in the Sky Bet Football League in January - thanks in no small part to the contribution of returning striker Nicky Ajose.
"Five goals in as many matches made Darren Ferguson's decision to recall him from his loan spell look very smart business indeed."
Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins said: "Darren Ferguson's decision to recall Ajose one game early looks to have been wise as the wide man enjoyed an excellent month.
"Ferguson will be hoping his form continues as they look to get back into the Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off places."
