Luton Town keen to keep Michael Harriman

11 December 2014

Luton Town boss John Still wants to sign QPR defender Michael Harriman on a permanent deal.

Still this week extended the full-back's loan spell at Kenilworth Road for a third and final month and he has plans to speak to QPR manager Harry Redknapp about keeping the 22-year-old when the transfer window opens again in January.

"I think during the course of this month I'll have a chat with QPR and see where it all is," Still told local reporters on Thursday.

"We like Michael and Michael, with the greatest respect, would like to stay here, but that's for QPR to decide.

"It's not a question I can answer, so when we speak to QPR we'll be able to see what they're thinking.

"We'll have a talk about that and see where we go from here, but he's done very well and we'd like to do something with that one."

Harriman has played 10 times for Luton since arriving in October and has become a key figure for the Sky Bet League 2 side.
