Carlisle United boss Keith Curle praised his side's determination after they picked up a second successive win courtesy of a 1-0 success at Morecambe.
The Cumbrians collected only their second away victory of the campaign thanks to a David Amoo goal five minutes into the second half and Curle believed his side were good value for the three points. He said: "The supporters who came here in great numbers expect to see their side play with enthusiasm, determination and grit and that is definitely what they got.
"We haven't been able to train over the past couple of days so the preparation has not been ideal and I've had to talk through a lot of things with the players and they did me proud.
"They took in all the instructions and looked solid throughout and reduced them to very few chances.
"We know it was going to be a battle against a side who have done well at home in recent weeks and we got the all important first goal. The lads then stuck it out and I think we deserved the win in the end which was great for the fans.
"They travelled here in superb numbers and that win was very much for them."
