This week featured Final Third Development League wins for Portsmouth and AFC Wimbledon and a Cup victory for Port Vale.
Final Third Development League - South DivisionPortsmouth were the big winners in the South Division this week as they saw off Leyton Orient 4-1.
Nigel Atangana, Johnny Ertl, Andy Barcham and Danny East were all on target for an experienced Pompey side in East London, and that result saw them move up to third in the table.
AFC Wimbledon, meanwhile, notched their first victory of the campaign by beating Gillingham 1-0.
A moment of brilliance from Kevin Sainte-Luce was all that came between the two sides and it moved the Dons away from the rock-bottom Gills, who have lost two from two.
Final Third Development League Cup - Northern Group A
Port Vale stole the bragging rights and top spot in Northern Group A of the Final Third Development League after seeing off rivals Stoke City 3-0.
Achille Campion was at the double for the Valiants, while Jordan Slew also found the net, as they eased to a routine win.
Leaders Vale will now have to wait for the result of the Shrewsbury versus Walsall game on 24th February to see if they progress to the Northern Semi-Finals as only the group winners go through.
