York manager Nigel Worthington has urged his side to be more ruthless as the Minstermen were held again to draw 0-0 with Wycombe.
It is York's fifth successive draw and c hances were limited for both sides but they couldn't find a way past Matt Ingram with Luke Summerfield and Michael Coulson going close.
Worthington has also told his side to go and force three points as he believes teams are coming to Bootham Crescent and are happy to leave with a point.
He said: "We're creating chances and there is good energy from the team. We need to be ruthless in front of goal and that's something we will continue to work on. We've got to keep the belief and then the goals will come.
"I couldn't fault the performance as there was a lot of energy and some good stuff. The decision making could be better but that's all part of our education. After that it was the same story once again and we've not taken chances. The positives are that we are still unbeaten and we've kept a clean sheet, if we keep adding to that and get a win that will be good.
"Teams are now coming here and if they go away with a point they are delighted - that's what last year has brought. We've got to be set for that situation and try go and force getting the three points."
Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth praised his side as they picked up their away point.
The Chairboys were denied a third successive win on the road with York goalkeeper Michael Ingham saving well from Steven Craig and Paul Hayes.
Wycombe currently sit fifth in Sky Bet League Two following an impressive start but Ainsworth believes his side could quite easily have gone on to pick up all three points.
He said: "I think if people look at the result they'll say it's great to get a point away from home against York - and I'm looking at it like that too. After the first month of the season we're sitting fifth in the table, so long may that continue.
"The difference from last year is evident with us, but it was a horrible game of football. They're very direct, but we countered everything they threw at us. I thought we managed the game better than York, and we got a well-earned clean sheet.
"With a point and a clean sheet in the bag, I'm a very happy manager. We created the two best chances of the game, and we could quite easily have nicked all three points."
