Mansfield Town have signed free agent Rob Taylor.
Taylor, 29, was released by Port Vale at the end of last season and has been on trial with the Stags during pre-season.
The left-sided player becomes the eighth new arrival at the One Call Stadium in recent weeks.
"We're excited to get Rob on board. He's a good player who has experience of getting promoted from this league," said Mansfield manager Paul Cox.
"Rob has come in and worked with us throughout pre-season and done well in the games. He's been patient. Now we've got to the point where we've agreed a deal and I'm happy with that.
"It's good news for the player and good news for the club."
Taylor made 181 appearances for Vale during a six-year spell, scoring 21 goals.
He began his senior career at Solihull Borough and has also had spells at Redditch United, Evesham United and Nuneaton Borough.
