Preston North End midfielder Joel Byrom has joined Sky Bet League 2 club Northampton Town on loan until 4th January.
The 27-year-old spent the latter stages of the previous campaign on loan with Oldham and has not appeared for Simon Grayson's men since December 2013.
Byrom moved to Deepdale in the summer 2012 and has made 41 appearances for the club.
