Blackpool's flurry of signings ahead of the new campaign continues apace with full-back Joan Oriol the latest arrival.
The 27-year-old left-back joins from Osasuna, who revealed on their official website that Oriol had terminated a contract which was due to run until June 2016.
He finalised his move to Bloomfield Road on Sunday, following most of the Seasiders' new signings in penning a 12-month contract with the option of another year, subject to international clearance.
"My move to Blackpool is good for me athletically and economically good for Osasuna; so it was easy," he said in quotes published on Osasuna's official website.
Oriol was a bit-part player for Osasuna last season during a campaign which saw them relegated out of the Spanish Primera Division. He had previously spent three years playing for Villarreal's first team.
This time last week Blackpool had just eight professional players on their books, but Oriol follows Jacob Mellis, Tomasz Cywka, Peter Clarke, Nathan Delfouneso, Jose Miguel Cubero and Donervon Daniels in moving to the Fylde coast.
Jose Riga's men still remain without a goalkeeper and had numerous trialists - including Andrea Orlandi, Darren Ambrose, Jonathan Greening and Francois Zoko - in their squad for last Saturday's pre-season friendly with Burnley.
