Italian defender Giuseppe Bellusci has committed his future to Leeds United by signing a permanent contract that will keep him at Elland Road until 2018.
The 25-year-old centre-half originally joined on a one-year loan deal from Serie B side Catania but celebrated his birthday by extending that agreement.
United manager Dave Hockaday told the club website: "Giuseppe has come into the club and has made an instant impact with the rest of the squad. He is a strong personality with leadership skills.
"As well as that, he is great at organising and brings added quality into our defence. He is an experienced footballer and we are hopeful he can bring all his qualities to the squad."
