Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of Slovenia international Dejan Kelhar on a short-term contract subject to international clearance.
The 30-year-old defender, a title winner with Red Star Belgrade in Serbia's top flight last season, has put pen to paper on an initial undisclosed short-term deal after spending pre-season with the Owls.
Kelhar told the club's official website: "I have a lot of experience across Europe playing in Israel, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Serbia and Slovenia but never England.
"I have spoken to players who tell me great things about English football so I am really excited with this move.
"I have been with the team over the summer, I have played in games and I am pleased that the coach has seen enough in me to offer me a contract."
