Blackpool boss Jose Riga has revealed that he is looking to bring another 10 players to the club before the end of the transfer window.
The Seasiders have added 12 new faces to a threadbare squad this summer but work could only name two senior players on the bench on Saturday following work permit issues.
Riga told the Blackpool Gazette: "I need 10 more players before the end of the transfer window but I'm a realist.
"It's more important we get the quality rather than the quantity. My obsession is to be able to build a competitive team here.
"We will grow as a team and get results. I'm sure we can do it but at the moment I just want more players.
"That isn't me being difficult - I just want to bring more quality players to the squad.
"I want to have choices and I need a lot. It's now up to other people to take care of the money and do the deals."
