Yeovil Town have been relegated from the Sky Bet Championship after just a single season in the second tier of English football.
The Glovers knew only three points against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium would be enough to keep their slim hopes of survival alive but they were beaten 2-0 with Kazenga LuaLua and Jesse Lingard on the scoresheet.
That result leaves Yeovil six points adrift of safety with only one game remaining.
Gary Johnson's side were promoted from League 1 just under 12 months ago by beating Brentford 2-1 in the League 1 Play-Off Final, to seal a first season in the second tier.
