Portsmouth goalkeeper Trevor Carson has yet to open talks over a permanent deal at Fratton Park.
The 26-year-old was allowed to play in Saturday's dramatic 4-4 draw against Bury despite being on loan from the Shakers.
Carson's loan deal expires at the end of the season but with Pompey battling against relegation until recently discussions over his future have been put on hold.
"We haven't had a minute to breathe in the last few weeks and have just been concentrating on getting over that safety line," he told the club's official website.
"It's been relentless and we haven't been able to sit down and talk about it yet.
"I can sleep well knowing that I've given everything during my time here, so we'll just have to see what happens."
