Morgan Fox and Dillon Phillips pen new Charlton Athletic deals

25 April 2014

Charlton Athletic academy graduates Morgan Fox and Dillon Phillips have both put pen to paper on new contracts with the Sky Bet Championship strugglers.

Fox, 21, has signed a contract extension that will see him stay with the club until the summer of 2017 while goalkeeper Phillips has extended his deal until 2016.

Left-back Fox has recently broken into the Charlton first-team and featured in the Addicks' crucial 3-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "The season has got better and better for me. It was a little bit of a slow start because I was hoping to be pushing for the first team but going on loan did me the world of good.

"Now I have progressed into the first team and I am very happy with that and to get a new deal."

Phillips, 18, is still waiting for his first senior appearance but has regularly featured for Jason Euell's Under-21 side this season.
