Chesterfield have won automatic promotion to Sky Bet League 1 after winning 2-0 against Burton Albion.
The Spireites claimed victory thanks to a double from Jay O'Shea, while Fleetwood Town drew against Southend United on Saturday, and that ensured a place in League 2's top three for Paul Cook's men.
Chesterfield - who were also runners-up in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in March - can cap their promotion by winning the League 2 title. They currently top the table on goal difference from Rochdale, with Scunthorpe United a point further back heading into the final match of the season.
The Spireites will take their place in League 1 for the 2014/15 campaign - a division from which they were relegated in 2012.
