Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has been fined and handed a one-match touchline ban by the Football Association.
Davies admitted a charge of improper conduct relating to the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Wigan at the DW Stadium last Saturday.
Forest lost the game 2-1 and Davies felt his side should have been awarded a second-half penalty when Chris Cohen went to ground after a tangle with Roger Espinoza.
The Scot's subsequent post-match behaviour has landed him in hot water with the FA.
An FA statement read: "Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has been fined ?2,000 and given a one-match touchline suspension after he admitted a breach of FA Rule E3 in that his language and/or behaviour following the end of his side's game against Wigan Athletic on 31 August 2013 amounted to improper conduct."
