Carlisle have signed Blackpool striker Nathan Eccleston on a month-long loan deal.
The 22-year-old is new manager Graham Kavanagh's first signing since he was installed as Greg Abbott's permanent replacement this week.
Eccleston is hoping to build up his match fitness following injury and is expected to go straight in Kavanagh's squad for Saturday's Sky Bet League One game at Shrewsbury.
The former Liverpool trainee, who joined Blackpool in the summer of 2012, has had previous loan spells at Huddersfield, Charlton, Rochdale and Tranmere.
Kavanagh said on Thursday that he hoped to draft in "one or two" players on loan in time for this weekend's fixture, but confirmed his interest in bringing back defender Troy Archibald-Henville from his loan spell at Swindon was currently on hold due to the player's knee injury.
