0 - Reading are still winless at Blackburn Rovers, after a 0-0 draw between the two at Ewood Park.

1 - Crewe Alexandra's on-loan Manchester City teenager George Evans netted the first senior goal of his career in the Alex's 2-1 home defeat to rivals Port Vale.

3 - Oxford United scored three goals in the first 31 minutes of their game against Morecambe and that was enough to give the U's all three points and maintain their place at the summit of Sky Bet League 2.

3 - After a 3-1 win against Exeter City at Spotland, Rochdale have now scored three goals in four of their last five home matches.

4 - Peterborough United have now lost four in a row in League 1 for the first time under manager Darren Ferguson, following their 1-0 weekend loss to Stevenage.

6 - Ipswich Town's David McGoldrick scored his sixth home goal of the season on Saturday. The striker has only scored once away from Portman Road this term.

8 - Colchester United are now unbeaten in eight league matches against Preston North End, following a 1-1 draw at Deepdale. The U's remain without an away victory since the opening day, however.

9 - There was a nine-goal thriller in Sky Bet League 2 on Saturday with Fleetwood Town overcoming Mansfield Town 5-4 at Highbury.

12 - Leicester City's David Nugent continued his fine goalscoring form against Ipswich on Saturday by netting his 12th and 13th goals in 12 games against the Tractor Boys. The brace also means he has now scored in all seven of his trips to Portman Road.

35 - Graham Turner reached 35 years as a manager last week and his Shrewsbury Town celebrated the milestone by winning 1-0 at home to Notts County.

42 - Tranmere Rovers triumphed 5-1 against Coventry City at Sixfields and that means the Sky Blues have now been involved in 42 goals over the space of nine home matches - a rate of over four goals per game.

50 - Martin Paterson scored his 50th career league goal in Huddersfield Town's 2-1 victory at Sheffield Wednesday. His 11th-minute strike was his first for the Terriers since his summer move from Burnley.

100 - Rob Taylor made his 100th league start for Port Vale at Crewe on Saturday and he marked it by scoring in the 43rd minute.

1930 - Torquay lost 2-1 at Accrington Stanley. The Gulls have failed to win at Stanley since a 1-0 FA Cup victory in December 1930.

1989 - Bristol City and Sheffield United met in the third tier of English football for the first time since May 1989 on Saturday.

30,367 - The highest attendance in The Football League at the weekend came at Elland Road for the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Middlesbrough.
