Bournemouth's Matt Ritchie is out to continue his rise up the Football League after landing an awards double.
The 23-year-old winger was named npower League Two player of the year with Swindon last season and, having joined the Cherries in January, landed the League One award this term.
With Eddie Howe's side pushing for promotion to the Championship, Ritchie could find himself stepping up another division next season.
"It would be nice to be in the Championship, that's our aim at Bournemouth now," he said.
"I can't wait for the season to take shape. It's very tight at the top but we have to keep going for the final push.
"We've won three games on the bounce so we are back on a little run and hopefully we can continue that for the rest of the season.
"I didn't expect the award. To win two years on the bounce, I'm speechless."
