Agyemang extends Pompey stay

8 March 2013

Stevenage striker Patrick Agyemang has extended his loan spell at Portsmouth by a further month, subject to FA and Football League clearance.

The 32-year-old scored his first goal for Pompey in last Saturday's 2-1 victory at Crewe - their first win in 24 matches.

Caretaker boss Guy Whittingham told Pompey's official website: "Patrick wanted to stay here and we're very grateful to Stevenage for allowing him to remain for another month."

Agyemang should be in the squad to face Bury at Fratton Park on Saturday.
