Coventry have snapped up Southampton centre-back Aaron Martin on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old arrives at the Ricoh Arena having made 29 first-team appearances for Saints, scoring two goals, ironically his first coming in the south-coast club's 2-1 FA Cup success over the Sky Blues last season.
None of those displays have come this term, though, with Martin having joined npower Championship side Crystal Palace at the start of the campaign on a season-long loan.
However, with just six outings to his name, he was recalled by Saints last month.
He will now hope for more first-team action as the Sky Blues aim to pick up the speed in their charge for a League One play-off place.
Meanwhile, Coventry caretaker boss Lee Carsley must decide whether to recall Cody McDonald from his loan spell at Gillingham.
The striker was sent to the Gills last month on a deal until May to help rediscover his scoring touch, and he has certainly done just that with four goals in seven appearances for the Kent club. However, City boast a recall clause after 28 days which has now passed.
