St Mirren have completed the signing of Blackpool midfielder Jake Caprice on a season-long loan deal.
Saints received international clearance hours before their League Cup second-round clash against Queen of the South.
The 20-year-old has not played a first-team game for Blackpool but made eight appearances on loan at Dagenham last season.
Manager Danny Lennon told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have signed Jake on a season-long loan from Blackpool.
"He is a versatile player who can play in a number of positions. He played as a striker during his time at the Crystal Palace youth academy, but has also played as a full-back, midfielder and winger.
"What he does have is tremendous pace and mobility, with the potential to make a positive impact on games.
"We have been looking for a player in this mould throughout the summer and Jake ticks the boxes for us. He is a young player with a bright future and we look forward to furthering his development here at St Mirren.
"We're also hopeful of making a further addition to the squad before the close of the transfer window as we are actively pursuing another signing target."
