Wolves winger Razak Boukari has travelled to France for an extended medical with Ligue 1 club Sochaux ahead of a proposed season-long loan move.
Boukari joined Wanderers last summer but managed just six appearances, the last of which coming last September, before missing the rest of the season due to a troublesome calf injury.
Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett, keen to lighten the club's wage bill following relegation to League One and also make room for new additions, sees Boukari as surplus to requirements at Molineux this term.
And the 26-year-old - who previously played in France for Chateauroux, Lens and Rennes - is now being given the once over ahead of a loan move to Sochaux, who secured Ligue 1 survival last term.
Wolves head of football development and recruitment Kevin Thelwell told the club's official website: "Razak has travelled to France with first-team physiotherapist Carl Howarth to undergo an extended medical.
"If that is completed satisfactorily then he will join Sochaux on loan for the season."
