Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies is looking forward to a nailbiting climax to the season.
Greg Halford's early goal secured a 1-0 victory at Millwall and set up a tantalising last-day clash with local rivals Leicester.
Forest have leapfrogged the Foxes into seventh and now both know a win could propel them into the play-offs.
Davies, who only took over in February, said: "Many people back then predicted we would need three points here to stay up.
"But now we go into a pre play-off play-off next Saturday.
"It's a very exciting time for everybody. The last day of the season will be a nerve-shredding time.
"It's a fantastic end to the season. Roll on Saturday!"
Millwall manager Kenny Jackett admitted: "It was a poor goal to give away from a set-piece.
"Ultimately it's disappointing as you need to score goals at home and creatively we weren't quite there in this one.
"We've been close but not close enough, which has been the story of the second half of our season."
