Carlisle and Bristol Rovers reach the Final

The Football League Youth Alliance Cup Final will be contested by Carlisle United and Bristol Rovers on Wednesday 17th April 2013.

To get to the Final showdown, the Cumbrians comfortably overcame Walsall 3-1 in the Northern Area Final, with goals from Tom Berwick, Alex Salmon and Kyle Dempsey. The Pirates, meanwhile, narrowly beat Watford 1-0 in the Southern Area Final to set up the clash with with their North West counterparts.

Rovers will come into the game high on confidence as they sit second in the South West division, and could clinch the league title with a win in their last game of the season against Exeter City. Carlisle, on the other hand, lie seventh in the North West division. 

The match, which kicks off at 7pm, is being staged at Carlisle's Brunton Park.
