What do you remember about your first ever match?
I scored six goals in my first ever game for Prostar Football Club.
Who was your childhood hero?
It was Kobe Bryant. I used to play basketball when I was little and I still enjoy it now.
When did you realise you had a chance to progress in the game?
When I was about 14 I was at Arsenal and got called up to go down to the first-team training ground. I got involved in the training session and had a chat with the manager, who said he liked what he saw of me. From then on I realised it wasn't just about progressing through the ranks, I knew I had an opportunity to go all the way.
Which coach has had the biggest influence on your career?
Steve Bould at Arsenal.
What did you spend your first wage packet on?
I bought a TV, a surround sound system, some trainers; I brought my girlfriend a pair of trainers, too - I just bought a whole load of things. I went crazy.
Does your squad number have a special meaning to you?
No, it was just one of the ones available when I came to Ipswich.
Who did you last swap shirts with?
I think it was either Jay Simpson or Nile Ranger, one of the two.
How has the game changed for the better since you became a pro?
It hasn't change at all really, in my opinion.
If you could have coached yourself when you were a teenager, what advice would you have passed on?
To not be so laid back.
If you stay in the game at the end of your career, what will you do? a) Manager b) Coach c) Scout d) Physio e) Pundit?
I think I'd like to do something that views the game from the outside, and not actually be involved in the football. So maybe someone who works on the television.
