Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen expects to stay at Portsmouth beyond the end of his current loan spell.
Andersen joined the cash-strapped npower League One outfit on a short-term deal last month and has made six starts.
The 23-year-old Dane's current agreement comes to an end next week but he told bold.dk back in his homeland that a prolonged stint at Fratton Park is on the cards.
"I am counting on the deal being extended - I am very, very happy here," he said. "Even though Portsmouth are playing in League One it is still a huge club.
"There is a healthy mentality here and the fans are amazing.
"No matter where we play the fans will always be behind us. The home ground is almost always packed and sometimes when we play away from home the support is so great that it feels like a home game.
"Portsmouth worked hard to get me and Reading were willing to help me.
"So I am certain that I will get to stay here and hopefully I will continue to play regularly."
