Charlton defender Rhoys Wiggins faces around two months on the sidelines with a foot injury which may require surgery.
The left-back limped out of Friday night's 1-0 south London derby defeat by his old club Crystal Palace and X-rays have revealed two fractures.
"Rhoys has suffered two fractured metatarsals on his right foot," Addicks physio Erol Umut told the club's official website.
"We will monitor him in the ensuing days to decide whether he needs an operation.
"Based on the injury, I would estimate he could be out for around two months."
Manager Chris Powell said: "He's an important player for us, and it's a shame that he had to come off against the team where he started."
