Hartlepool have confirmed Colin Nish is set to clinch a loan move to Dundee after agreeing terms with the Scottish Premier League newcomers.
The striker did not travel with the Pools squad to Notts County on Tuesday so he could discuss a deal which will see him remain at Dens Park until January.
Nish will train with Dundee on Thursday ahead of their game against Ross County at the weekend.
The 31-year-old is way down the pecking order at Victoria Park having failed to impress manager Neale Cooper towards the back end of last season.
The Pools boss is desperate to free some of his salary budget in order to bring fresh blood to the club before the end of the month.
