Wilson to field first-choice XI
Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson has a fully-fit squad for the Capital One Cup clash with Burton and insists he will be looking to win the tie by picking a strong side.
Wilson fielded full-strength teams in cup competitions last season and has said this campaign will be no different.
He could hand debuts to summer signings Darryl Westlake, Tony McMahon and Shaun Miller for the visit of Albion.
"I think the proof's in the pudding on the games we've had before," he told the club's official website. "We want to win every game and the more the players can play together the better understanding they'll have."
The former Sheffield Wednesday boss added: "I think there are still a couple of places up for grabs but 90% of the team will pick itself."
Burton head into the new season with mounting injury problems.
Striker Calvin Zola (hip) and wide players Jimmy Phillips (broken foot) and Jacques Maghoma (ankle) will miss the first-round tie at Bramall Lane.
And, with one eye on the League Two opener away to Rotherham a week later, manager Gary Rowett also has concerns about defenders Aaron Webster (hamstring) and Andy Corbett (groin), midfielder Jack Dyer (knee) and strikers Justin Richards (hamstring) and Billy Kee (groin).
However, Webster, Dyer, Richards and Kee all featured for varying amounts of time in the friendly defeat to Leeds on Tuesday night.
Rowett hopes Corbett can recover sufficiently to be included in the squad against the Blades.
