Livesey suffers hamstring tweak

29 August 2012

Carlisle defender Danny Livesey is out for at least three weeks with a hamstring injury.

Livesey missed Tuesday's Capital One Cup victory over Ipswich after suffering the injury in training on Monday.

The 27-year-old had been ever-present so far for the Cumbrians this season and scored in last weekend's win over Portsmouth.

"Danny was bending down to reach for a ball and he tweaked his hamstring. It wasn't good for him," manager Greg Abbott told the club's official website.

"He'll need it to settle down now and he is expected to be out for approximately three weeks.

"He'll get his treatment and we can keep you updated from there."
