Doncaster have completed the signing of Leeds striker Billy Paynter on a two-year contract.
Paynter was placed on the transfer list by Leeds manager Neil Warnock at the end of last season after a frustrating two years at Elland Road which saw him restricted to 28 appearances, scoring three goals.
"I'm pleased to be here. I came down and trained with the lads a couple of weeks ago and I've signed," Paynter told the club's official website. "It's a good set-up here with a good bunch of lads and I'm looking to help fire Donny back up to the Championship."
The 28-year-old had been on trial with Rovers and becomes manager Dean Saunders' seventh summer signing following the arrivals of defenders Rob Jones, Paul Quinn and Jamie McCombe, midfielders David Syer and David Cotterill and fellow forward Robbie Blake.
