Charlton have completed their third signing of the summer by recruiting free agent Salim Kerkar.
The left-sided former Rangers player, 25 on Saturday, has put pen to paper on a one-year contract following a successful trial period.
Manager Chris Powell said: "Salim has impressed while he's been with us and we felt that he warranted a longer stay.
"I'm very pleased that he's agreed to join. He's predominantly a left-sider and can play at left-back and left wing, and I'm told that he has played up front as well, so he offers a variety of options.
Kerkar was signed by former Rangers boss Walter Smith in November 2010 and went on to make 18 appearances, scoring twice.
