iFollow Update

As we look ahead to another weekend of action in the EFL Championship since the season resumed, we’d like to update you on a number of key topics regarding iFollow.

Promotional codes
Every EFL Championship Club is now in receipt of their promo codes, and every Club has adopted a different approach to the distribution and treatment of these codes.

For those season ticket holders in receipt of a code from their club, some key FAQs can be found here to support you.

Customer support
We have welcomed a huge number of fans to iFollow for the first time and this has brought an increase in queries, with a number of fans who have had issues either redeeming codes or activating iFollow accounts.

The iFollow support team is working to respond as quickly as possible to the supporters that have been in touch. Due to the current high volumes of enquiries, responding to supporters is taking slightly longer than normal at present. Fans will receive a response at the earliest opportunity but in the meantime the answer to any technical, login or access issues might be located in our iFollow FAQs which can be accessed here.

For any technical advice relating to the iFollow service, supporters will need to contact our partners Endeavor, who operate the iFollow system on behalf of the EFL. To resolve any issues ahead of matchdays they have a dedicated specialist support team that can be reached via e-mail on ifollow@efl.com. On matchdays they also operate a 'live chat' option, accessible from your club’s website.

Log in issues
There was an issue on Saturday 20 June that meant that a number of fans were unable to access iFollow immediately ahead of the 3pm matches, and for the first 13 minutes of affected games.

The issue was caused by an overload of customers moving through the billing process at the same time, which caused the login system across websites and apps to fail.

Endeavor Streaming (EFL Digital’s streaming service provider) has apologised for the impact on Clubs affected and their fans ability to view the first part of Saturday’s fixtures and have provided assurances that this situation will not be repeated. A full range of measures and tests have been put in place to make sure all expected traffic can be catered for.

Purchase your passes in advance
Match passes are on now sale to fans, to stream forthcoming EFL Championship fixtures, visit your club’s website for further details and to purchase today.

We urge fans that have not yet redeemed promotional codes to do so as early as possible, and for non-season ticket holders to purchase their match passes in advance, and login for matches in advance of kick-off, to ensure a smooth matchday.
