Michael Salisbury

Michael began his refereeing career in 2001 on the local leagues in Preston thanks to the influence of his father Graham, who is a current EFL referee.

After progressing through the leagues, his first taste of the professional game came in 2010 as an Assistant Referee in the Football League.

Since then, Michael has been fortunate enough to officiate in eight different countries and visit Wembley Stadium six times, including as a reserve Assistant Referee for the FA Cup Final in 2016 and also as a Referee for the 2020 League Two Play-Off Final.

Josh was appointed to the SG2 list ahead of the 2020/21 season.
